We are saddened to learn of the passing of David M. Siegel. He was the brother of Daniel Siegel and the son of the late Dr. Burton and Patricia Siegel. The obituary can be seen here.
A graveside service for David Michael Siegel, 58, will be held Sunday, December 31, 2023 at 2pm at Agudath Achim Cemetery, at the corner of Walnut and Yale, Shreveport, Louisiana.
Officiating the service will be Rabbi Dr. Jana L. DeBenedetti.
For those who cannot attend, the services with be streamed on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?
A Reception will be held at Agudath Achim Social Hall immediately following the grave side services beginning 3:30pm (time approximate).

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the death of Kathy Rubenstein. She died yesterday after battling cancer since 2021. She was 59 years old.
She was the beloved daughter of Sue and David "Buddy" Rubenstein, and the sister of Bonnie and Sam.
There will not be a public funeral service.

When Kathy was diagnosed with cancer, she established The Kathy Rubenstein Women’s Cancer Fund which has been established to support patient care, education, and research. More details can be found HERE.

She was the beloved mother of Leroy Nuckolls Jr. (Peggy), and grandmother of Grant Nuckolls (Ann).

The family will have a visitation at Rose Neath Funeral Home (1815 Marshall St., Shreveport) 5-7pm Tuesday, September 5. There will be a Celebration of Life in the chapel at the funeral home, 9:30am Wednesday, September 6, which will be followed by military honors and burial at the Northwest Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Keithville, Louisiana. Rabbi Jana will officiate.

It is with sadness that we share that Paula Schorr Cornelious passed away yesterday in her sleep, surrounded by her family.
She and her daughter, Kim Wynn, ran Camp Chai for a few years. Her son is Mark Cornelious. Her husband, Bill, died less than a year ago. Paula's full obituary can be read HERE.
The graveside funeral will be 2pm TOMORROW, Thursday, May 18 at the Agudath Achim Cemetery at the intersection of Yale and Walnut Streets. Rabbi Jana will officiate.
