Names submitted after the deadline may not be in the Yom Kippur book, but can be in the Memorial Books used for Sukkot, Passover, and Shavuot.

As we prepare for the High Holy Days, we remember our family and friends who are no longer with us. At B’nai Zion one of the ways we honor their memories is by offering you the opportunity to include their names in a special Memorial Book. This lovely keepsake will be used during the Yizkor / Memorial Services four times throughout the Jewish year: Yom Kippur, the end of Sukkot, the end of Passover and on Shavuot.

Jewish tradition encourages honoring the memory of loved ones by giving tzedakah to remember their names. Thank you to everyone who chooses to make a donation to include names in our Memorial Book. We also appreciate everyone who makes a donation to B’nai Zion’s Memorial Book, but chooses to keep the names in your heart.
