    Place Flags at Gravesites for Memorial Day

    DATE CHANGE: For Memorial Day we will be placing or replacing flags at the graves of the veterans in the B'nai Zion cemeteries. Please contact the office if you see veteran gravesites with no flags. We will meet first at the Jewish section of Greenwood Cemetery on Stoner Avenue 10 AM Sunday, May 29. CHECK THE BZ HOME PAGE IN CASE OF CHANGES. DUE TO RAIN DATE HAS CHANGED.

    Shavuot is a Yom Tov (Holy Day) according to the Torah. It is also a day when we commemorate Yizkor, and remember all of our loved ones who have died. Remember to light a candle Saturday night for Yizkor, in addition to Yom Tov candles, if it is your tradition.

Rabbi Jana may share some Mitzvot challenges and discussions This is our fifth annual 613 social gathering. We can spend some time together, and appreciate the 613 Mitzvot. We are tentatively scheduled to gather at Twisted Root (everyone pays for their own food/drinks). Arrive early to order in time to be sitting and visiting by 6:13pm.
