Omer Song a Day Challenge

Rabbi Jana would like to post a song for each day of the Omer. Are there songs you would like to post? Are there songs you would like Rabbi Jana to post?

We are still in a pandemic, but it seems that we are all "in this together" so we will begin with a variety of melodies for "Hinei Mah Tov," because it speaks about 'how good and how pleasant it is when we are all living as brothers/sisters together.' Plus Rabbi Jana sings many melodies for the song. If you know any, you are welcome to contact her to submit them for posting (either for her to record and post - or perhaps you would like to create a version to post). If we don't have enough melodies of Hinei Mah Tov for 49 days, we will continue the count with other songs that are meaningful to us this year. A few of these songs may have been posted during the year as part of our Stay-at-Home services.

1 Hinei Mah Tov Round: Rabbi Jana uses the Acapella app to do a duet with herself.
2 Hinei Mah Tov Dance: Patti David demonstrates the Hinei Mah Tov dance in a (one person) circle. (To learn the dance, click HERE).
3. Hinei Mah Tov Dance: Patti David demonstrates the Hinei Mah Tov LINE dance. (She teaches the dance HERE (no music), and demonstrates the steps with no music HERE.)
4. Hinei Mah Tov Syllable Challenge. Can you keep up with Rabbi Jana as she removes a syllable from the end each time she repeats this version?
