Dedicate and Donate for Our New Torah Scroll

The very last Mitzvah in the Torah is to write a Torah.

A New Torah Scroll has been commissioned for B'nai Zion. A symbol of generational continuity and the 613th Mitzvah, the Sefer Torah will connect our rich past to our promising future.

You can participate in the Mitzvah of writing a new Torah scroll by giving Tzedakah (making a donation).

Dedication of Your Mitzvah:

The Torah is sometimes called a "Tree of Life."

The "seed" money for our new "Tree of Life" has been generously donated in memory of Ruth and Bernard Kallenberg, Betty and Leonard Phillips by Jeffrey David Joel Kallenberg and Sandra Lynn Phillips Kallenberg.

When you make a donation for the writing of the Scroll, you can make a dedication in honor of or in memory of people or events.

Please use the space below to write any dedication that you would like.
Your dedication can be something like: "I write in this Torah Scroll to honor my sons, Max and Ron by Rabbi Jana" or "My donation is to honor the teachers of the Religious School" - you can choose to list your name, or be anonymous.
Not everyone who writes in the Torah or gives Tzedakah will choose to have a dedication.
If you are not sure how to write your dedication, you can simply write in the box: Please have Rabbi contact me.
Donation for the Mitzvah:
Write the amount of your donation in this box.
Any amount can be given as a donation for Tzedakah for the Mitzvah of writing a Torah - whether you write in it or not.

Donations can also be made for the sake of others, to help them fulfill the Mitzvah of writing a Torah.
