Erik Lawrence (Rabbi Jana's brother) will be and a Songs of Spirit, Comfort and Hope concert.

Erik is a saxophonist and flutist who has toured the world and recorded with artists including Levon Helm, Little Feat, Henry Butler and Steven Bernstein, Chico Hamilton, Sonny Sharrock, David Amram, and countless others. He has combined these experiences with an in-depth study of the healing power of sound and vibration in both tradition and
science to create a personal approach to sharing sound with listeners through his music.

Erik will be helping to lead the Friday evening service and Purim Schpiel at B'nai Zion Congregation in Shreveport 6pm Friday, March 3 and will be in Alexandria, LA for a Sound Sanctuary Workshop in Alexandria 1pm Saturday, March 4 at the Alexandria Museum of Art.
