Wonderings 21 What About a Congregational Seder?

This week I am wondering about our Congregational Seder. Would you consider coming to a Congregational Seder at B'nai Zion? The first Seder is Friday, April 15. The Sisterhood is willing to make it happen. We would like to know how much of an interest there is. We need to begin planning now - so please let us know as soon as you can.

This week I am wondering: What you think about us having a Seder together this year. What is the chance that you would attend (how many do you think would be in your group)? We are not yet asking for a commitment, just your thoughts.

Once again, I want to thank everyone who has responded to my  "Wonderings."  You are always welcome to respond to any of the questions I have asked by calling or emailing, no matter how long ago the question was originally posed. You can also choose to keep your replies totally private, and not be posted on the Responses page. I always try to remove personal / identifying details when I do post the replies.

This is not a humorous topic, but something funny just happened. I went to check my email to see if anyone had responded. I glanced at the new emails, and for some reason the subjects of the first two in my in-box got mish-mashed in my quick glance, and I saw: "Early Warning Signs of Seder You Shouldn't Ignore."  The truth was that the top email was about signs of Dementia, and the second one was about Seder. It got my attention. Now maybe I have to write an article/sermon about early warning signs of Seder. [Rabbi Jana]

With COVID, I never take off my mask inside any building where there are people outside my "bubble."  Unless things change, I would not eat a meal while inside. [H]

If I am in town, I will attend the Friday evening B’nai Zion Seder. Being on Good Friday, my offices are closed which provides me a good opportunity to leave town to visit with and have Seder with my family. [S]

I would love to attend a seder at BZ.  It would be 2 in my party. [A]

No Seder for us [D]

We like to have our Seder at home. [S]

We would most likely go. [M]

I’d sure consider coming. Of course I’d have to make a decision closer to the event. It would depend on the state of the pandemic closer to the Seder event. [D]

Unfortunately we will be out of town on April 15th. [B]

Would consider attending the Seder Dinner at the Temple this year. Maybe a Pick Up Dinner, at a cost, could be arranged with a streaming service. [R]
