The Witches of Lublin is based on true and little known history of klezmer musicians in Eastern Europe.

A drama by Ellen Kushner, Elizabeth Schwartz and Yale Strom, this one-hour radio show offers a glimpse into the lives of lost Eastern European Jewish women. Set in the Passover season, The Witches of Lublin, airing Thursday, April 5 at 1 p.m. on Classical 91.5/HD-FM91.5-1, it is a story as ancient as myth, and as modern as every family that struggles to hold its center in a world of strife and conflicting loyalties.
