Shredding at B'nai Zion July 20 Deadline

B'nai Zion has arranged for shredding almost any type of confidential material (Paper, Plastic, Fabric, Metals, Magnetic media, CDs and DVDs, Hard drives, X-rays, Microfilm, ID badge, and more). Please bring whatever needs to be shredded by Monday, July 20. BZ is requesting an $18 donation for the first banker’s box size box, and $10 per box or batch beyond the first. A shredding truck will come to BZ to respect your privacy and ensure a secure shredding of all paper. If you need to request a drop-off time before 9 am or noon, please contact the office for special arrangements. All money donated for shredding will help offset our Security budget.

SHREDDING AT B'NAI ZION

Thank you for making a donation for the BZ Safety & Security Fund to shred your materials at B'nai Zion. B'nai Zion has arranged for a shredding truck to come to the synagogue. The truck is capable of shredding any confidential material, including paper, hard drives, cd/dvds, etc.

This year the deadline for bringing materials is 2pm Thursday, April 18, 2023.

Your confidential material will stay in a locked room at B'nai Zion until the day of the shredding. The shredding is supervised by B'nai Zion staff (usually Karen and/or Rabbi Jana) to ensure that all of the materials are shredded and no confidential materials are compromised.

The amount you pay is a donation to the Safety & Security Fund at B'nai Zion. The donation will help defray the cost of the security officers, equipment, and other security needs. The suggested amount is $18 for the first box/bag, and $10 for each additional box/bag. Any amount that you give is appreciated. You are welcome to bring payment when you drop off your materials, or you are welcome to pay online using this form.

This form will allow you to notify the office how much material to expect for shredding. It also allows you to make the donation at your convenience online. You are welcome to make a donation for the security fund using this form, even if you choose not to shred anything at B'nai Zion.
