August 16 The Big Lebowski, Jeff "The Dude" Lebowski, mistaken for a millionaire of the same name, seeks restitution for his ruined rug and enlists his bowling buddies to help get it. One thread in this “crazy cult classic” movie is that John Goodman plays a Vietnam Veteran who is proud of his Judaism. It is a Coen brothers movie which also stars Jeff Bridges, Steve Buscemi, and others. 117 minutes. Rated R. View the trailer here.
