Services and other events can be attended in person at B'nai Zion. If you are fully vaccinated you do not have to wear a mask. (Masks and hand sanitizer are available at B'nai Zion.) We are also continuing our online options : for services that usually means Friday evenings there is a live stream of the service on YouTube and Saturday mornings on Zoom. The SECOND SATURDAY of the month we will try to have in person Torah Study and Service (enter through the handicap entrance in the back of the building). We are planning to resume in person Oneg Shabbat after Yom Kippur. Until then, Rabbi Jana has Zoom Oneg Shabbat after Friday evening services most weeks.


Louisianans who have taken at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and are age 18 or older may enter to win one of four $100,000 prizes and the grand prize of $1 million. Louisianans who have taken at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and are between the ages of 12 and 17 may enter to win one of nine $100,000 scholarships. Louisianans are eligible if they have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine before the end of July – regardless of when they were vaccinated. Registration for Louisiana’s Shot At A Million lottery begins Monday, June 21, 2021 at noon CDT. Saturday morning - the second Saturday each month - we are in person for 9:45am Torah Study and 11am Service. You must enter from the handicap entrance.
